Jays Thumped At Home To Force Do-Or-Die Game Three On The Road

It’s do or die for the Vegreville Blue Jays. After a 10-3 win on the road in game one of their best-of-three semi-final, the Birds couldn’t wrap things up at home, falling 16-1 to Armena on Tuesday. Things were knotted at 1-1 until the visiting Royals put up nine runs in the fourth. Veteran infielder Grayson Soprovich gives credit to a tough opponent.

The two teams will battle it out tonight with a trip to the Powerline Baseball League finals on the line. First pitch is set for 7:00 pm in Armena. The winner will advance to face The Rivals who swept Rosalind in their semi-final.

Starter Kyle Muzechka had a rough go of things, giving up ten runs in four innings.
First baseman Zak Lang looks to hold the runner.
