Mundare Communities in Bloom is sponsoring a free winter clothing shopping event later this month.

A community BBQ during Mundare Agri-Days will bring locals and visitors together to celebrate the landmark, its history, and the community behind it.

On Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. there will be the installation and unveiling of a commemorative sign honouring Annya Palsitt at the intersection of Highway 16 and Highway 855 near Mundare, Alberta. 

The Town of Mundare is looking for parade participants and vendors to join them for this year’s Mundare Agri-Days event.

Mary Immaculate Care Centre in Mundare will be hosting a Community BBQ in support of the facility this June. The event will act as a fundraiser to help with recreational programming and continuing care for seniors.

The Kalyna Country Ecomuseum Trust Society will be hosting a festival celebrating the life of Canadian poet and visual artist Andrew Suknaski at the end of the month. Founder and long-time curator for the Society Jars Balan says that Suknaski, a native of southern Saskatchewan, truly captured the spirit of the Prairies in his literary works.

In the late evening on Apr. 8, 2026, Vegreville RCMP responded to a business alarm at 11:45 p.m., in the town of Mundare. Police confirmed there was a break and enter to a business near the intersection of 52 Avenue and 50 Street.

Local non-profit organization CX Solid Foundation is gearing up to host their 2nd annual Blackfoot Saddle Safari Fundraiser this May. The Foundation specializes in Equine Assisted Learning, a program that is dedicated to mental health support for first responders and their families through interactions with horses.
