The Community Board of Mary Immaculate Care Centre in Mundare is preparing to host an event called the Planning Ahead Workshop next month.
According to organizers, the aim of this one-day meeting is to learn more about personal directives, goals of care, power of attorney, wills, and funeral planning.
Vice Chair for the Community Board Sylvia Zacharkiw says that planning ahead for later in life is an important step that adults of any age should consider.
The Planning Ahead Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4th starting at 7pm at the Mundare Seniors’ Centre. Attendance to the event is free, but pre-registration is required by Wednesday, October 28th.
