AHS Mobile Mammography Screening Test program makes its way to Tofield and Two Hills this month

The Alberta Health Services Mobile Mammography Screening Test program will make their way to Tofield and Two Hills this month to provide breast cancer screenings for eligible individuals between the ages of 45 and 74. The AHS recommends mammograms as part of a regular health care routine and maintains that this is the best way to detect breast cancer early, when treatment may be more effective.

AHS medical professionals will be on site at the Tofield Health Centre from April 20th to the 23rd, and the Two Hills Centennial Hall Community Centre on April 24th, 25th, and 27th.

While screening is available at no cost, appointments are required. To book an appointment, you can call 1-800-667-0604.

For more information about breast cancer or other cancer screenings the AHS provides, you can visit screeningforlife.ca.
