Mobile Breast Cancer Screening Testing is making its way to the Town of Viking October 14th to 17th at the Viking Carena parking lot.
Screening mammograms are the best way to detect cancer early, when treatments may be more effective.
If you’re between the ages of 45 and 74, Alberta Health Services recommends regular screenings every two years, as decided by you or your healthcare provider, and no referral is needed. If you’re outside of this age range, be sure to talk with your healthcare provider if breast cancer screening might be right for you.
