Alberta Health Services is reporting 53 new cases of measles over the weekend.
That brings the total to 932 since the outbreak began in March…..the highest number in more than 40 years.
Measles was declared eliminated in Canada in 1998.
That status may be ended by the fall, with officials saying the outbreaks across Canada won’t be over anytime soon.
