Elections Alberta says the final batch of special ballots for this month’s referendum have been sent out and should be received in the coming days.
Officials say as of last Tuesday (Sept. 29th), over 652-thousand special ballot applications were approved.
Application packages must be received by Elections Alberta by 5 p-m on October 16th.
Canada Post is suggesting that packages be mailed out by the 9th to ensure they get to Elections Alberta on time.
The referendum is set for the 19th.
