CALS looks ahead to busy summer and fall registration

The Community Association for Lasting Success is looking forward to a busy summer with the return of the Little Explorers Program, an event for kids aged 3 to 5 that runs every July and August.

The program takes place at the Vegreville Preschool and includes daily activities like craft making, music and singing, storytelling, and outdoor fun. Registration for Little Explorers will open on May 14th.

Executive Director for CALS Jen Dixon says that the organization is also now accepting applications for their Head Start Program for the 2026/2027 school year. Dixon describes the program as a supportive early education strategy for children who may experience speech language delays, developmental or physical disabilities, medical conditions, and behavioural concerns.

She goes on to say that the Head Start Program can be an excellent option for parents and caregivers who are looking to give their children a positive beginning to their educational journey. The program is aimed at kids aged 3 to 4 years old.

To apply for both the Little Explorers Program or the Head Start Program, you can visit the Community Association for Lasting Success website at vcals.org.
