VegreKidz Daycare turns to community for support with garden project

Local childcare facility VegreKidz Daycare is looking to start a community garden project this summer.

The organization says that the act of growing their very own flowers, herbs and vegetables will teach children about responsibility and an appreciation for nature. VegreKidz is turning to the community for assistance with the project and are seeking donations to help get the garden started.

The organization is currently looking for donations of items like soil and seeds, small plants or seedlings, and child friendly gardening tools.

For more information about this community garden project, you can visit the VegreKidz Daycare Facebook page.

They also have their own website at vegrekidzdaycare.com.
