Registration to participate in the Reeve’s 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament hosted by Lamont County is now open.
This annual event is run each year in support of the County of Lamont Food Bank and Christmas Hamper Program. This year, the proceeds will also go toward the Food Bank Building Fund to aid the organization in their goal of constructing a brand-new location.
Economic Development Manager for Lamont County Shane Olson says that this well-loved tournament is great opportunity for community members to come on out and support a great cause.
“It’s definitely nice to see this continue. Last year we had a record amount of funds raised, just under forty thousand dollars for the Food Bank. It’s a great opportunity for networking, for industry, and community to really come together and build a social kind of feeling here in Lamont County as well.”
The Reeve’s 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held on August 20th at the Whitetail Crossing Golf Club in Mundare.
