Colby Warawa got things started for the Vegreville Vipers on Saturday night as they completed a two-game sweep of Cold Lake in a best-of-three CAJHL semi-final series. It all started on Friday night where Bence Pal stopped all 31 shots that came his way in a 5-0 shutout victory. The Vipers finished the series on Saturday with a 7-4 victory. CAJHL MVP Carson Pewarchuk led the attack with two goals and two assists. Pewarchuk led all scorers in the series with eight points. Next up is the league’s best-of-five final series against the winner of the Barrhead/Hinton series.
