Oilers Blanked In Game 1 As Stanley Cup Final Begins In Florida

The Edmonton Oilers will try to even up the Stanley Cup Final on Monday, June 10th when Game 2 is played in Sunrise, Florida.

Edmonton was blanked 3 to nothing on Saturday, June 8th at Amerant Bank Arena as the Panthers jumped out to a 1 game to none lead in the best of seven series.

The Oilers held a 32 to 18 shot advantage but they could not get one past Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky.

Game 2 is coming up on Monday at 6pm mountain time.

The Stanley Cup Final will then shift to Rogers Place in Edmonton for Game 3 on Thursday, June 13th and Game 4 on Saturday, June 15th.
