3rd Annual Connect and Learn Conference will take place in Lamont this year

The Vegreville and District Family and Community Support Services are excited to announce that the 3rd Annual Community Connect and Learn Conference will be taking place in Lamont, Alberta, next month.

This free one-day conference is aimed at community builders, decision makers, leaders of volunteers, board members, and anyone who would like to learn how build stronger, more sustainable non-profit organizations.

Community Development Facilitator for the Town of Vegreville Elizabeth Koehler-Lenko says that this is a wonderful opportunity for connecting with other community-minded people, and hopefully a chance to take away some practical ideas that can be used in any organization.

The 3rd Annual Connect and Learn Conference will be held on Thursday, September 24th from 9am to 4pm at the Lamont Community Hall.

For more information or register for this event, you can contact the Vegreville and District FCSS office or visit their Facebook page.
