Alberta is putting $3.2 million toward Family Resource Network programs aimed at helping families before the crisis stage.
The funding will support prevention and early intervention services for children, youth and families, including parenting education, home-based supports and short-term mental health services.
The province says the investment brings its total annual funding for Family Resource Networks just under 67 million dollars. Organizations can apply for funding for services including youth and caregiver supports, child development programs and in-home services.
Applications are open until Sept. 29th.
