New stats from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta show growth in the province.
Officials say Alberta now has more physicians offering care than ever before.
As of June 30th, Alberta has over 14-thousand fully registered physicians.
That’s a boost of almost 10 per cent compared with the same time last year.
It’s an all-time high for Alberta and the stats show growth in every health zone in the province.
Roughly 510 new family physicians have started practicing in Alberta within the past year.
