A special presentation is coming up on May 27th as part of sexual violence awareness month.
The Association of Communities Against Abuse, the Camrose Women’s Shelter Society, and Leduc RCMP are partnering for a discussion on sexual and intimate partner violence.
According to a press release, sexual and intimate partner violence are tough subjects to identify and even harder to respond to.
Mounties say community members are welcome to attend th free presentation to debunk myths, challenge social norms, and prepare a blueprint for effective prevention and response strategies.
Join them for the discussion from 1 until 3pm on Monday, May 27th at the Leduc Public Library.
