2025 Municipal Election Results

The polls have closed on Election Monday and votes are being counted across the province.

Here in Vegreville, Mayor Tim MacPhee is back for another four-year term after running unopposed.

His council will have a different look with nine candidates vying for six available spots. Of the current council, only four put their names for re-election so there will be at least two new faces on council.

We’ll provide updates as they become available right here on MyVegrevilleNow.com.

Due to the changes to the Municipal Elections Act, votes will be counted by hand rather than by electronic tabulators. The change may impact the speed in which results will become available.
