Strathcona County RCMP are reporting that a local school principal has been charged with sexual assault.
42 year old Amit Mali, a resident of Sherwood Park, was arrested and charged with three counts of sexual assault and criminal harassment.
The charges stem from a police investigation which determined there was one adult female victim.
Mali has been released on an undertaking with conditions and is set to appear in court in Sherwood Park on May 29th.
