Grade 12 student Natalie Andrews got the surprise of a lifetime when she learned that Make A Wish Canada would be granting her wish last week. Andrews, a student at St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Vegreville, suffers from a condition known as Desmoid Fibromastosis and has undergone a below knee amputation. Natalie says when she learned that the Foundation would be making her dream of a completely refurbished truck come true, she was shocked.
Natalie’s 1977 Dodge D100 has been completely transformed with the help of Vegreville Auto Body. She says that having her wish granted is something that she will remember forever.
Andrews looks forward to graduation this June, and plans to attend Lethbridge College in the Fall. Natalie wishes to thank the Make A Wish Foundation and the Vegreville Auto Body staff for their hard work and dedication to the refurbishment of her truck.
