Alberta Wildfire has imposed a ban on fires across the entire northern and central sections of the Forest Protection Area.
A red flag warning or watch is now in effect for the entire boreal forest because high temperatures and low humidity are expected to contribute to what officials call “extreme fire behaviour through the day today.
There are currently 52 wildfires burning in the province…..30 of them are considered out of control.
