As spring arrives, RCMP are urging drivers to watch for new drivers on Alberta roads.

With more young learners behind the wheel, motorists are reminded to stay alert, patient, and give extra space — especially around vehicles marked with “Student Driver” signs.

Expect slower speeds and cautious driving, and avoid aggressive behavior that can stress inexperienced drivers. Parents teaching teens should also prioritize safety.
