At Lakeland College in Vermilion, a new grain bin is helping students take learning to the next level.
The 5,000-bushel bin was donated by Meridian Manufacturing and adds much-needed storage for the student-managed farm.
Staff say the added capacity gives students more flexibility to market grain and gain hands-on experience in crop technology and ag marketing. Â
