The Alberta R-C-M-P has launched a new non-emergency phone line.
You can now call Mounties at 310-RCMP to make a non-emergency police report. The R-C-M-P’s communications centre says the goal is to help reduce unnecessary 9-1-1 calls, streamline the crime reporting process, and offer a boost to the early stages of an investigation.
Officials add it should also help alleviate any confusion on what department you should call if you’ve experienced a non-emergency that still needs attention.Â
