Alberta’s nurses have reached a new four-year contract agreement with the province.
Nurses will see an immediate pay bump of up to 15 percent, with total increases expected to reach 20 percent by 2028. The deal also promises improved staffing levels and job security.
As part of the agreement, the province will hire 1,000 new full-time nurses every year for the next four years.
