2024 Powerline Baseball Season Begins On May 11th

The 2024 Powerline Baseball League season is almost here.

First pitches will be thrown out at a trio of venues on opening day which is set for Saturday, May 11th.

The first two games or the season are set to begin at 2pm on May 11th with the Tofield Braves visiting the Athletics at the Rosalind Recreation Grounds and the Heisler/Spring Lake Rivals on the road against the Armena Royals at Anniversary Park.

At 6:30pm on May 11th, the Vegreville Blue Jays will have their home and season opener against the Camrose Roadrunners at the Riverview Ball Diamond.

The Rosalind Athletics are the defending Powerline Baseball League champions. The A’s won the title in the six team league by sweeping Armena in the 2023 best of three PBL championship series.

Vegreville earned the top seed heading into the playoffs thanks to a 9-3 record during the 2023 regular season. However, the Blue Jays were unable to muster a postseason win as they were swept in the best of three semi-finals by the Royals.
