Mammogram Screen Test Clinic Happens This Month In The Town Of Viking

Alberta Health Services is holding an on-site Mobile Mammography Screening Test Clinic at the Viking Carena Complex this month. While mammograms are open to women of all ages, Alberta Health Services encourages women aged 45 to 74 years to be screened every
two years, or as directed by a health care provider. AHS maintains that regular screenings for breast cancer is the best way to detect the disease early, when treatment may be more successful. The Mobile Mammography Screening Test Clinic in Viking is set to take place May 6th to May 11th. Appointments for this clinic are required and may be booked by calling 1-800-667-0604.
