Strathcona County RCMP attended the scene of a fatal collision involving a motorcycle over the weekend.
It happened just outside of Sherwood Park on Highway 16 and Highway 21 shortly before 6:20pm on Saturday, April 27th.
According to police, emergency crews arrived, located the driver of the motorcycle – a 47-year-old resident of Edmonton – and confirmed he was deceased.
Although the investigation continues, RCMP say witnesses reported seeing the motorcyclist losing control of the bike and flipping.
Alberta RCMP are extending their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
