The Annual Home Business and Makers Market is celebrating its 20th year in Vegreville this May. The event occurs twice a year, once during the spring season and once during the Christmas season. Organizer of the event Jennifer Hladilo says the Market has come a long way since it’s humble beginnings all those years ago.
Hladilo also adds she is proud of how much support the event receives from the community of Vegreville every year.
Those who attend the Market can expect a fun day with a various local vendors to support, free donuts from Tim Horton’s and coffee from McDonald’s, and food available from the Sunshine Club Cafe and Dining Room. This event is also in support of the Veg Al-Drug Society, who will be on-site at the Market with their current fundraiser selling raffle tickets.
The Annual Home Business and Makers Market is set to take place on Saturday, May 4th from 10am to 3pm at the Vegreville Senior’s Sunshine Club. Those would like to be a vendor may still do so by contacting Jennifer at 780-275-0473. Admission to this event is free.
