City Of Cold Lake To Host Free Prostate Cancer Screening Clinic This June

As a part of Seniors’ Week in June, the City of Cold Lake has sponsored The Man Van to come to the Cold Lake and District FCSS Building to host a free Prostate Cancer Screening Clinic for men ages 18 and older. The Man Van is a mobile men’s health clinic that serves approximately 7,000 men per year, and helps educate men and their families on the importance physical and mental health.

The Man Van will be offering free on-site baseline Prostate Specific Antigen blood testing for men ages 50 to 70, which can help with the early detection of prostate cancer. Additionally, all men over the age of 18 will receive blood sugar and blood pressure testing, a mental wellness check, and waist circumference measurements.

The Man Van will be at the Cold Lake FCSS Building on Friday, June 7th from 10am to 2pm. No appointment is necessary.
